Day 1 - WSOP Circuit Event #1
We got up, loaded the van back up, checked out of the Holiday Inn, and headed to Harrahs Rincon. We arrived about 11:40. Just in time for the tournament. Glad I registered the night before and already had my seat assignment.

Trip to San Diego for WSOP Circuit Events...
My plans are to be here from February 19th - 23rd. Of course, I flew America West so that I can continue to accrue mileage points which allow me to fly first class for these long West Coast trips. For a big guy like myself, the extra room in first class is much appreciated and makes for a better trip.
I have a little company on this trip. My Mother, Brother, and an Aunt and Uncle from North Carolina are flew out as well. However, they flew out on another airline after making a later decision than mine to come out here. I think they were able to get a good rate via Orbitz or Travelocity or something like that.
Anyway, I had a 4:44pm EST flight and was in San Diego by 9pm PST. When I got to San Diego, I had to wait about another 45 minutes for the rest of the "enterauge" to arrive. They got the rental van and we headed up North.
Because Harrahs was booked for Saturday night, at the suggestion of a local that I met on the internet via RGP (VeeRob from the rec.gambling.poker newsgroup), I made reservations at The Holiday Inn in Rancho Bernardo which was just South of Escondido. We checked in and got settled.
I usually prefer to stay at the hotel where the tournament is being held. Makes things a lot easier. Althoug it was late when I checked in, I still wanted to drive up to Harrahs and register for the $200 + $25 No Limit Holdem Event on Sunday morning at Noon. So, my brother and I drove up the the mountain/hills and found Harrahs Rincon. I ran in, registered with no problem and then we shot back to Rancho Bernardo and crashed for the night to get ready for the next day.

Did You Miss Me?
Throughout the month of February, I have been playing a lot of live tourneys including my weekly game and Bumper's weekly.
Speaking of Bumper's, This week, he kicked up the buy-in to $150 and I came in fifth place. I'm not going to speak on it too tough but I caught a bad beat by the house that sent me to the rail in 5th Place. A call was made by the house which spoiled the effect of a raise I made and it caused me to lose the hand I was on. After that is was all over. Because I run a weekely game myself, I respected the call made by the floor and bit my tongue and the bullet. But I must admit, I still feel real salty about the way it went down.
Anyway, I have still been playing online a lot as usual. About 98% MTTs and SNGs. I primarily play on Full Tilt Poker and BoDog these days. Usually the $100-$150 Buy-In nightlys on Full Tilt or the guaranteed dailys at night on BoDog.
I've begun my push to satellite into Full Tilt Poker's $250,000 Guaranteed Tourney going down on March 12 as well. I played a $24+$2 Single Table Satellite for this event earlier this week and came in 2nd Place. That hurt. Guy rivered on me to get the win too. EIther way, I will be playing on March 12.
Enought about that. Tomorrow is the big day. I leave for San Diego to play some events at The WSOP Circuit's next stop which is Harrahs at Rincon. I leave on Saturday and will be there til Tuesday. Wish me luck.
