Bust-out on The Bubble at The Borgata (Sucks to be me)
After playing some of the best poke that I have ever played in my life, I busted on the bubble in 6th Place!!!! Tallking bout a body blow to the gut. Man it hurts. To be so close yet so far away. Heads up with the other short stack...AK versus A7 and a 7 comes on the flop. Womp-Womp! To the rail I go.
Oh well. I just felt like venting publicly. Makes you want to just take some time off from playing poker yet you feel like you're in a zone and need to get right back in the saddle. Maybe I'll jump in the FTP Piece of The Pros Tourney today or something. But then again, I play so much better live versus online. So, that wont prove much to me I guess.
Oh well. Thanks for reading.

Syd,
I think the first step in becoming a great poker player is having moments like you just had, and learning from them. Since you are a WPT fan, look at Daniel N. It busted out on the bubble a number of times in the previous years to come back stronger than ever. Last year was his big year, but I think this year is his breakout year.
I think a key to his success is probably his writing, as well as playing.
Keep it up,
I hope to one day say... I played poker with that WSOP winner, and I did bluff him out of some monster pots... :)

I am notorious for bubbling, I know exactly how you feel. It sucks in the worse way.
BUT
get used to it. It will happen a lot, and sometimes even for bigger prizes, such as coming in 2nd when only 1st gets the $10K WSOP seat. Sigh.
